Who we are

[Legal name] (“Nova Smokery,” “we,” “us”) sells small-batch smoked salmon for local pickup. This website is an order page. It is not an online store with checkout.

The order form

Submitting the form is a request, not a completed sale. We may accept, change, or decline a request (for example, if an item is sold out). A sale happens only after we review the order with you.

Listed prices can change before we accept a request. Half-pound minimum per item. Leave a line at 0 to skip it.

We email or call with the pickup place and time after we review the order. Pickup is local. We do not ship unless we say so in writing for that order.

Food

The product is smoked salmon (fish). If you have a fish allergy or another dietary restriction, do not eat it. After you pick up the order, you are responsible for keeping it cold and using it promptly. This is perishable food.

Payment

This website does not take payment. If we later take payment, it will be through a method we name (for example, at pickup or through a payment processor). Do not send card numbers through the notes field.

Using the site

You must be 18 or older to request an order. Do not misuse the site, including by submitting false orders or illegal content. We may block access.

The site may be unavailable at times. We do not promise it is error-free.

Our content

The name Nova Smokery, the logo, and the text and images on this site are ours or used with permission. You may not copy them for your own business.

Disclaimers

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss from using the site or from a hosting outage. For a confirmed order, our responsibility is limited to replacing the product or refunding the amount you paid for that order, at our choice.

Photos and descriptions on the site are not a promise that every batch will look or taste the same.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state listed under Contact, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Court proceedings, if any, will be in that state’s courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after posting means you accept the new terms.
