[Legal name] (“Nova Smokery,” “we,” “us”) runs this website at novasmokery.com. We sell small-batch smoked salmon for local pickup. This policy describes personal information we collect when you use the site, including when you request an order.
Information we collect
Order requests. The order form asks for your name, phone number, email address, optional notes, and how many pounds of each listed item you want. Submitting the form sends that information to us as part of the request so we can review the order and arrange pickup.
Technical information. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and similar operators may record your IP address, browser and device details, the pages and addresses you request, dates and times, and similar logs needed to run and protect the site.
Fonts. The pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address and related technical data when your browser requests those files. That is governed by Google’s own policy.
We do not create customer accounts. We do not take payment card numbers on this website. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies on these pages.

Who we share with

If we later take payment through a processor, that processor handles payment data under its own terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

These pages do not set advertising cookies. The host may use cookies or similar tools needed to deliver the site and reduce abuse.
How long we keep data
We keep order-request information as long as we need it to fulfill the order, keep records, handle questions, and meet legal duties. Hosting logs are kept according to the host’s practices.
Security
We use HTTPS. No internet transmission is completely secure. Do not put payment card numbers in the notes field.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email [email address]. We may need to verify who you are. We may keep information we must keep for legal or recordkeeping reasons. Because this site has no customer accounts, there is no self-service portal.
Children
This site is for people 18 and older who are ordering food. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think we have, contact us so we can delete it.
